(6) Acted as Police Magistrate and Corone: from 21st March to 7th April. Mr. J. R. Wood acted as Second Police Magis. trate from 21st March to 31st December and drew half

pay of Second Folice Magistrate from 8th August to Bist December, half pay as Assistant Land Officer, New Territo- ries, from 8th August to 29th October and from 13th to 17th November and half pay as Deputy Registar and Appraiser from 18th November to 31st December.
