There is an old eil- ver mire in Loutao and an abandoned lead mine at Ua In Gap, New Territories. A certain kind of elay is tunnelled for at Un In with which pot- tery is made. There is slate unquarried in Ping Chau Island, Mirs Bay, but none of these places have ever been investigated.
