(1) Dr. F. Gröne acted as Second Health Officer of Port and Inspector of Emigrants from 1st January to 23rd

September and drew half initial pay of Second Health Officer of Port and Inspector of Emigrants. (2) Dr. J. C. Thomson acted as Medical Officer to the Kowloon-Canton Railway (British Section) and drew pay at the rate of $2,600 per aquum with Exchnuge Compensation from Colonial Funds and at the rufe of £240 with a Consolidated Allowance of $2,400 per sauum from Railway Construction Funds from 1st January to 4th October.
