The Governor appoints to the office of Watchmen such fit persons as he may consider to be sufficiently recommended by the inhabitants of any District, under the provisions of Ordinance 3 of 1888.
PUBLIC DEBT.
Inscribed Stock at 3 interest. £341,799. 15s. Id., for Praya Reclamation ; Central Market; Water, Drainage and Sewerage Works, &c., to be paid off on 15th April, 1943. The Sinking Fund was expected to reach £32,834,11.0 on the 31st of Deceniber, 1904, and is invested by the Crown Agents for the Colonies in approved Securities, the interest accumulating.
