REMARKS.

(1) During Mr. Gibson's absence ou leave from 20th July to 19th Angust, his allowance for conveyance WH drawn by Inspector Watson who performed part of the duties of the Colonial Vetorinary Surgeon.

(2) Inspector C. W. Bratt and Overseer Johansson performed Inspector Rogers' duties during his absence ou leave from 15th March to 31st December, and they each drew in nldition to their own salaries half of his 405- veyance allowance from 15th March and † of the initial pay of the post from 15th June.
