REMARKS
(1) Post abolished in January
(2) Dr. Pearse acted as M. O. H. and Superintendent of Statistics in the Registrar General's Department from 1st January to th November during the absence of Dr. Clark on leave, and drew half his own and half Dr. Clark's pay and also half that Superintendent of Statistics. Dr. Barnett acted as M. O. H, and Superintendent of Statistics from 8th November to 7th December during the absence of Drs. Clark and Pearse, on leave, and also acted as Assistant Medical Officer of Health from 8th November to 31st December during the absence of 1); Pearse on leave and drew the Conveyance allowance of A. M. O. H. instead of his own. (3) Attached to and paid by Public Works Department, Mr. Jackruan acted as Consulting Sanitary Surveyor from 10th March to 31st December during the absence of Mr. Hollingsworth on leave.
