(1) Sir Henry Spencer Berkeley acted as Chief Justien from 27th August to 31st December, and drew half of
Chief Justice's pay and half pay as Attorney General from 27th October to 31st December.
(2) Mr. T. Sercombe Smith acted as Puisno Judgo from 30th March to 31st December, and drew half of
Puisne Judge's pay and half pay as Police Magistrate from 30th July to 31st December.
(3) Mr. Seth neted as Registrar from 1st January to 19th May, and drew half of Registrar's pay and half pay as Deputy Registrar and Appraiser from 15th January to 31st July, and from 1st August $1,800 nă Registrar.
(4) Mr. Kemp acted us Second Magistrate from 1st August to 27th October, and drew half of Second Magis-
