(1) Commander R. Murray Rumsey, R.N., retired on pension on 18th January, 1904, and was on vacation leave and drew full pay
from let to 17th Jamary.
(2) Captain L. Barnes-Lawrenes, 1 N., diew balf salary from 17th January to 22nd February, and full salary from 23rd February
on assumption of his duties,
(8) Mr. Basil Taylor acted as Harbour Master, &c., from 1st January to 22nd February, and from 18th January drew half salary of the Harbour Master and half of his own; from 18th January to 22nd February Mr. E. Jones neted as Assistant Harbour Master and drew the lapsing half salary of the post and half of his own: Mr. M. Melver drew half the salary of 1st Barding Officer and half of his own; MF. F. C. Collage drew half salary of the Inspector of Junks anil balf of his own; Mr. M. Ralfeck, 7th Clerk, (since resigned), drew the half salary of the Assistant Inspector of Junks and half of his own; and Mr. Francisco Xavier Ferreira acted as Temporary Assistant Inspector of Junks und drew $40 per month.
