There is a fair amount of Bath and Lavatory arcmn» modation, the waste pipes from which have recently been re-arranged so as to discharge into open heads attached to a vertical waste pipe situated outside the building and trapped at its foot,
Water-closets of the wash-out type provided with waste-proventing cisterns are used disconnected from the wards.
