REMARKS.

(1) All Officers, with the exception of the Postmaster General, the Officers in the Money Qrilor Department, the Correspondence Clerk, the Compralore and the Shroffs, draw an allowance for extra work on the arrival of an English or French Mail from Euro e on the following scale :--

Salary $1,200 and upwards $3 per mail. Sulary $300 and under $1,200 $2 per mail. Salary $180 und under $600 | 51

per mail. Sulary under $480 §0.25 per mail. The allowance is doubled in the case of au arrival ou a Sunday or holiday.
