There is a fair amount of Bath and Lavatory accUID- modation, the waste pipes from which have recently been re-arranged so us to discharge into open heads attached to a vortical waste pipe situated outside the building and trapped at its foot.

Water-closets of the wash-out type provided with waste-preventing cisterns are used disconnected from the wards.
