Any other Matter or Proceeding not herein specified-The same Fee as is charged in the Original Jurisdiction in respect of a similar Matter or Proceeding.

In any Matter or Proceeding not mentioned in the said last mentioned Seulo, the same Fec as is provided for a similar Matter or Proceeding in the Original Jurisdiction.

Made by the Chief Justice, under Section 24 of "The Supreme Court

Ordinance, 1873," (No. 12 of 1878), for the taxing of costs in the

SUPREME COURT.

1. In the following Rules the expressions “excceding” and “not excceding" refer in the ease of a Plaintiff to the amount recovered and in the case of a Defendant to the amount claimod,

In actions or proceedings other than those for the recovery of money and in nctions where claims for the recovery of money aro joined with other claims, the Judge, having regard to the value and nature of the subject matter of the action or proceeding, similˇdirect under which of the scales hereinafter set forth the costs (if any) shall be taxed.
