There is a fair amount of Bath and Lavatory necom- modation, the waste pipes from which have roeently been re-arranged so as to discharge into open lends attached to a vorticnl wasto pipo situated outside the building and trapped at its foot,

Water-closets of the wash-out type provided with waste-preventing cisterns are used disconnected from the wards.

(I.) In reference to the abovo Table, state whether or not the Register Books wore produced on every occasion; and if not, on how many occasions they were not so produced.

(II.) And if on any occasion when they wero exa- mined, they were found not to be properly made up to date of examination.

(III.) State also how many Reports of the fol- lowing kinds have come under the notice of the Governor :—

(a) Reports of a Financial and Statistical kind especially such as show the system on which Money and Store Accounts are kept and nudited.

(b) Reports by Porsons charged with the imune-

diate managemont of the Hospital.

(c) Reports by a Government Inspector, indo- pendent of the Governing Authority of the Hospital.
