REMARKS.
(1) During Mr. Badeley's absence on leave Mr. T. A. Howe, who was seconded from the Royal Irish Constabulary, neted as Deputy Superintendent and drew $200 a month from 1st January till 28th September when lie returned to Ireland; and Mr. Mackie then acted till Mr. Badeley's return drawing half pay of the office.
