(1) On sick leave from 26th February and pensioned of on 26tli July. Commander W. C. H. Hastings acted as Police Magistrate and Coroner from 26th February to 31st December, and drew half salary of the office from 26th May to 31st August at $325 per month, and from 1st September to 31st December at $250 per month.

(2) Full salary of office $2,592, but deduction made of 8860 per annum as value of quarters, Mr. C. W. Duggan acted as First

Clerk from 1st Mareli to 31st December, and drew half salary of the office from 1st July to 31st December.
