There is a fair amount of Bath and Lavatory accommodation, the waste pipes from which have recently been re-arranged so as to discharge into open ends attached to a vertical waste pipe situated outside the building and trapped at its foot.
Water closets of the wash-out type provided with waste-preventing cisterns are used disconnected from the wards.
