Parcel Post Regulations

  1. To the United Kingdom.—Parcels are forwarded by I. & O. packet only, and arrive in London about eight days later than the Mail. No further charge is made on delivery except for Customs Duties.
  • Duties in the United Kingdom: 150 per lb.
  • Duties cannot be prepaid.
  1. Indemnity not exceeding $2 under any circumstances will be paid in case of loss of or damage to a Parcel forwarded to, from, or through the United Kingdom.
  1. To INDIA.—By I. & O. and Bombay Mail packets only. Inland Parcels by I. & O. Mail packets only.
  1. Parcels for The United Kingdom and all countries marked with an asterisk (\*) may be insured at the following rates:
  • $120 for $100 value
  • $430 for $400 value
  • $700 for $600 value

Special Insurance Limits
