Ventilation is very good all over ship and the cubic sparr allowed to each patient is there- fore liberal, On emergency Over 110 could be accommodared giv. ing each 600 feet on upper deck and 900 on lower deck. During the summer months Vetilation og the lower deck is not good owing to winds being light or absent.
This, of course, does nut include the large air-space alwa the private wards anddispe2 sary, passages, &e.
