Piers and Wharves outside of the City of Victoria will be subject to payments calculated at one half the above scale.
In all cases where permission is given by the Surveyor General to erect a pier over Crown Foreshore, and such pier is removed on or before the expiration of one calendar month from the date of grunting such permission, the eneroachment shall not be sub- jeet to Crown Rent.
INTEREST.
On fixed Deposits in Local Banks at 5 per cent, per annum, as also the Interest allowed by the Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corporation on Current Deposit Accounts, at the rate of 2 per cent. per annua on the daily balanco to eredit of Government.
