The Governor appoints to the Office of Watchmen such fit persons as he may 10 he sufficiently recommended by the Inhabitants of any District, under the Provisions of Orlinance 7 of 1866.
PUBLIC DEBT.
A Loan of £200,000 has been sanctioned, and about one-third of the amount will have beca borrowed by the end of 1886.
