Note 2.-When Bills of Exchange or other sucli documents are drawn in sets of two If or more, half tho nhove duties to be charged on each part of a Hot. the Duty be 5 cents the first part of the sot shall be charged 3 cents, and the other parts 2 cents each.
Note 3.—In the ease of Bills in sets drawn out of the Colony, the whole duty shall be payable on that part of the set which is first prosented for payment or neceptance, or is first otherwise negorinted, the other parts of the sot being free.
