REMARKS.

In addition to the above pay, good conduct allowances, and allowances for knowledge of the Chinese language

is paid to 82 Sergeants and men.

Eumpern Sergeant receives $120 a year as Monitor in the Polieg School.

Fire Coustable receives $180 a year as Ships' Carpenter.
