LAND REVENUE

LEASED LANDS:—

Crown Rents on Lands leased for periods varying from 14 to 999 years.

LANDS OCCUPIED BY CHINESE Villagers, Squatters, &c., under Squatters' Licences issued by the Surveyor General, viz.:-

Villagers and Squatters at Hongkong at $1 per annum for 150 Square Foot, at Kowloon at $1 per annum for 800 Square Feet, Cultivated Lands at Hongkong and Kowloon at 76 cents per annum per Mow = 7334 Square Yards.

PIERS AND WHARVES:-

The leases are disposed of at Public Auction Sales, held in accordance with Notifications. Ordinance 8 of 1858, Section 20. Permission to erect a Pier or Wharf, other than a Pier or Wharf authorised by Ordinance :- Victoria, per month..............$16, Villages,.......$7½.

STONE QUARRIES:—

C. S. O. 1460 of 1885 & C. S. O. 495 of 1886. Leased to the highest bidder by Tender for one year from 1st January to 31st December.

RENTS, EXCLUSIVE OF LANDS

Leased to the highest bidder by Tender for one year from 1st January to 31st December.

PUBLIC BUILDINGS :—

Houses Nos. 10, 11, 12, 14 and 15 Shektongtsai, Latrines at 60 cents per cent, monthly.
