TEMPORARY CIVIL HOSPITAL RETURN.

NOTE,

On the first occasion of filling up these Forms, a Plan of each Floor of the Hospital should be sent home. Each such Plan should be the size of the Blue Book sheet. In subsequent years, if there has been no material alteration in the Buildings, or addition to them, it will be sufficient to refer to the Blue Book in which the Plans were sent home.

If the Buildings are afterwards altered or enlarged, fresh Plans should be sent home with the Blue Book of the year in which the alterations we re effected.

The Temporary Civil Hospital in Hollywood Road was burned down December 26th, 1978, and the Establishment was removed into the Lock Hospital building at West Point, where it now remains.

The dimensions of the wards are given below.

The old Lock Hospital not being large enough, the new Lock Hospital was added to the Tem- porary Civil Hospital Establishment, July 9th, 1880.

Part of the old Lock Hospital is now being altered, and the old Saiyingp'un School House is occupied by part of the Civil Hospital Establishment.
