HONGKONG VOLUNTEER CORPS.

The Hongkong Artillery and Rifle Volunteer Corps, originally incorporated by Sir HERCULES ROBINSON under Ordinance 2 of 1962, was disbanded by Sir Richard MacDonnell in 1866, but revived and re-organized by Governor Porn Hesyessy in 1877-9; it was again disbanded in 1882, and re-organized in same year by the Hon, W. II. MARSH, C.M.G., the Offloor Administering the Government, under Ordinance 18 of 1852.
