LAND REVENUE.

LEASED LANDS :-

Crown Rents on Lands leased for periods varying from, 14 to 999 years

LANDS OCCUPIED BY CHINESE VILLAGERS, SQUatters, &c., under Squatters'

Licences issued by the Surveyor General, viz.:—

Villagers and Squatters at Hongkong at $1 & $14 per an. for 150 Square Feet.

at Kaulung at $1 per annum for 300

Cultivated Lands at Hongkong at $1.50 and 75 çcuts and at Kaulung at 75

Lensed to the highest bidder by Tender for one year from 1st January to 31st.

MARKETS:-

RENTS, EXCLUSIVE OF LANDS.

Laus at $20 monthly

Shops, from $15 to $21 monthly

Stalls, from $1 to $2.50 mouthly

There is a premium paid in a lump sum by the persons to whom these leases are granted when the Shop, Lau or Stall is considered by the Lessees a very desirable holding.

Post Office-Quarters leased to Postmaster General at $300 yearly

House No. 25, Queen's Rond Central, known as Crosby's Stores, nt $2,100

LICENCES OF TENEMENTS FOR EMIGRANTS :——

For every 10 Inmates, if by the year, $5, and if by shorter term, for every

10 Inmates, per diem, 10 cents

EMIGRATION BROKERS' LICENCE, $200 yearly.

LICENCES FOR Billiard TablES AND BOWLING ALLEYS, $50 yearly
