INTEREST.

On fixed Deposits in Local Banks at 5 per cent. per annum, as also the Interest allowed by the Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corporation on Current Deposit Accounts, at the rate of 2 per cent. per annum on the daily balance to eredit of Government.

Under this head are brought to account the Receipts for Storage of Gunpowder under Section 37 of Ordinance No. 8 1879, and Order of the Governor in Council of 6th May. 18GS, according to the following scale:-

and so on, increasing Two cents per package for each 25lbs. of Gunpowder, up to and in excess of 100lbs. according as the Gunpowder may be loose or in tins.

Packages containing Ball-cartridges to be charged per 25lbs, weight, 3 cents a month, and

fraction of a month.
