INTEREST.

On fixed Deposits in Local Banks at 5 per cent. per annum, as also the Interest allowed by the Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corporation on Current Deposit Accounts, at the rate of 2 per cent. per annum on the daily balance to credit of Government.

MISCELLANEOUS RECEIPTS.

Under this head are brought to account the Receipts for Storage of Gunpowder under Section XXXVII of Ordinance No. 8 of 1879, and Order of the Governor in Council of 6th May, 1868, according to the following scale:-
