GENERAL EXEMPTIONS.

Any Deed, Instrument or Writing of any kind whatsoever made or executed by or on behalf of Her Majesty or of any Department of Her Majesty's Ser- vice, or whereby any Property or Interest is transferred to or any Contract of any kind whatsoever is made with Her Majesty or any Person for or on behalf of Her Majesty or any such Department as aforesaid.

NOTE. The foregoing exemption does not extend to any Deed, "Instrument or "Writing, executed by the Registrar of the Supreme Court as Official Adminis- trator or by a Receiver appointed by any Court, or to any Deed, Instrument, or Writing rendered ne cessary by any Ordinance or by the order of any Court; neither does it extend to a sûle mude for the recvcery of an arrear of Ravenue_or Itent or in satisfaction of a Decree or Order of Court, in any of which cases the purchaser shall be required to pay in addition to the purchase money the amount of the requisite Stamp.
