The rate of mortality for every thousand persons during 1875 among the British and Foreign Community is 28.18, and among the Chinese 25.74, while for the whole population of the Colony, the tate was 25.87 for every thousand persons.
If the Deaths of non-residents be deducted, the Death rate of the British and Foreign Cemmmunity is only 25.94 per thousand.
