MILITARY EXPENDITURE:

Enumerate the Military Posts and Worke; specifying whether the same are under the control of the Ordnance Department, and whether any expense is incurred on account thereof by the Colony;

A General Return of the Militia, and any other Local Corps, with the Charge attending the me;

The pecuniary Allowances (if any) granted to the Queen's Troops; and the Value of Rations, Quarters, or other advantages received by them, and forming a Charge on the Colony;

Ascertain and state the Amount of Bills drawn by the Commisariat for the Pay and Allowances of the Troops; the Amount of Bills drawn by the Ordnanos Depart- ment for Pay and Allowances of the Detachments of Royal Artillery and Engineers; and the Amount of Expenses incurred by the Ordnance Department for the constrac- tion and repair of Military Works.
