ANSWERS.

Religion's Services are held in one of the large rooms of

the Prison, but there is no Separation of Prisoners whilst al: Service

therein.

19. Reasons for Punishments, by Whip- ping, Irons, Solitary Confinement, or otherwise?

ANSWERS.

Fighting with and stealing from each other; Assaulting and using threatining language towards their Guards; Smoking Sobacco and opinow. idling at work, and disobedience of orders.
