In the Land Registry Department, 86 Memorials of absolute sale were registered affecting 91 Lots, 23 memorials made affecting 13 for sales of Sections, 20 for Mortgages, satisfactions of Mortgages affecting Lots, and 144 of a Miscellaneous character — total 152 Memorials, more than double the number of last year. Fees received on the above amounted to £190. 12. 8., and fees for the renewal and extension of Leases to the sum of £109. 7. 8. Total for the Registry Office £300... nearly double that of last year.

The interments in the Protestant Cemetery during the year were as follows: Army 30, Navy 28, Police 4, Seamen 33, Civilians 15, Children 4, Paupers 31, Destitute 4, Prisoners of War 3. Total 132. The fees upon which amounted to $906.76. Monuments were also erected for which fees to the amount of $42.25 were collected.
