Amount of Fees during the Year 1853 in Sterling Value: £2.

Whether the Principal be allowed a House for his personal Residence or what Allowance, if any, for House Rent or Quarters: Allowed to reside in the Building hired as Police Station. Acts as Assistant Magistrate, etc., with a Local Central Salary of £550 per annum. Acts as Coroner, and Collector of Police Rate. (Vide notes.) Contributes to the Superannuation Fund. 16 April 1844. (To vary.) 24 Days. Ditto. 3rd March 1852.

Since Mr. Messon's temporary removal, on the 29th March, to the Supreme Court as acting Deputy Registrar, the duties of Clerk have been performed by Mr. Grant The. (Vide Notes B. and M.).
