Officiating Registrer General show that the Vital Population of Honghong on the 3106 December, 1853, Consisted of 39,017 Persous, exclusive of Troops.. As to the Chmate, the Report of Dr Harland, the dicting Colonial Surgeon, appended to the "Blue Book, Contains very accurate statistical information connected with this subject... The Sanitary condition of the Colonial baol is given in the ruclosed Returin from the Acting Sheriff which shows that amongst it's simates, averaging 138 throughout the year, only 3 deaths
