Held ap- pointments of acting Registrar Gen- eral and acting Police Magistrate; was called to the bar at the Middle Temple in Nov., 1893; appointed acting Police Magistrate in 1895, and acting Puisne Judge in 1896; acting Colonial Treasurer, 1897; acting Colonial Secretary in 1898; Police Magistrate from July, 1898; held positious of acting Puisne Judge, Acting Colonial Secretary, during 1899 and 1901; resumed duty as Police Magistrate in 1903, and was appointed l'uisne Judge in 1904, which position he held until 1904; is at present Acting Colonial Secretary.
