Assis- tant Physician in East End Dis- pensary, Memphis, Tennessee; after graduating in medicine, 1904, took special courses and obtained diploma in Physical Diagnosis and in Surgery; was converted in 1895 and joined Presbyterian Church of Wills Point Texas; joined First Baptist Church of Memphis, Texas; applied to Foreign Mission Board of Richmond, Va, and was appoint- ed to take charge of medical work, Laichow-fu, Nov. 3, 1904.
