Hong Kong Constitutional Reform Association formally inaugurated at a public meeting in the Theatre Royal (3/5). A St. George's Society for Hong Kong formed at a meeting of Englishmen in the City Hall (31/5). Restoration of the Emperor of China by Chang Hsun and the monarchist party (1/7). Premises of the Deutsche-Asiatische Bank, in Queen's Road Central, sold by auction for $335,000.
