CONDITIONS.
Awarded on the result of the Class 2 (School Certificate) Examination. A maximum of 35 scholarships available to students of Queen's College, King's College and the Vernacular Normal and Middle School. Awarded on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained in the following seven subjects-English, Chinese, (or Urdu), Arithmetic, one other Mathematical subject, one Science subject, History and Geography. Each subject carries 100 marks.
Awarded on the results of the combined Class 4 Examination for the following schools-Lower Schools of Queen's College and King's College, Ellis Kadoorie School, Yaumati School, Wantsai School, Ellis Kadoorie Indian School. Candidates from non-Government Schools are admitted to this examination. Tenable for two years. Maximum 35.
Awarded to students from certain Vernacular Schools (a) to Class 8 in District Schools on the results of an examination conducted by the Inspector of Vernacular Schools. Tenable for five years. Maximum 30. (b) To Higher Primary 1, Vernacular Normal and Middle School. Maximum 4.
