26. A successful Sports Meeting was held in April, and great keenness was shown in the inter-house competitions conducted in basket ball and swimming.
27. Ellis Kadoorie Indian School.—Headmaster, Mr. A. White. Maximum enrolment 200. Average attendance 192 (187 in 1936).
28. 55% of the boys who entered for the Class 4 Examination passed, while in the remainder of the school 73% of the candidates were successful in gaining promotion.
29. 120 books were added to the School library during the year.
30. The school is indebted to the Military Authorities for the use of the Military Football and Hockey Grounds at Sookunpoo one day in each week.
31. Cricket continues to be the favourite game at this school although considerable progress has been made in Hockey.
32. Belilios Public School—Headmistress, Mrs. P. Y. Stark. During the absence on long leave of Mrs. Stark the school was in charge of Mrs. E. M. Clark.
