222 Approach Road to Government House: This work, which was referred to in paragraph No. 241 of last year's Report, progressed satisfactorily and was completed on 14th September, 1935.

223 Resumption of I.L. 564 (Ice House Street):-It was resolved to resume the above lot comprising Nos. 11-23, Ice House Street: Purchase by private treaty failed and the matter was submitted to Arbitration.

OTHER WORKS.
224. In conformity with the usual custom certain works were carried out for the Naval, Military and Air Force Authorities.
Under special expenditure a number of alterations and additions were made to the transmitting and receiving apparatus at various stations.
226: At the Government Wireless School the first full course of nine months was completed by twenty-five students and the second course was commenced by fifteen students: A first 'refresher' course of two months was completed by nine students and a second course commenced by eighteen students. 275 technical lectures were given in addition to practical demonstration, telegraphy and procedure etc. instruction. From test papers set and examinations held sixty certificates were issued.
