Drainage-(a) Training Nullahs:-A new nullah was constructed to a length of 276 feet and decked with a R.C.C. roof for its full length; parapet walling was built to a length of sixty-six feet and pot holes on the foreshore at Repulse Bay, south of R.B.L. 158, were filled in with concrete to eliminate mosquito breeding.

The levelling and turfing of the football ground and certain other portions of the areas in Queen's College Recreation Ground, Causeway Bay were completed.

Improvements and additions to the electrical installations were made in twenty-two buildings. Fifty-four electric fans, five radiators, eight telephones and two bells were installed in twenty-seven buildings.
