# FEMALE EDUCATION.
62. Of the 75,480 children under instruction in the schools of the Colony during 1935, 24,040 or rather more than 30% of the whole were attending schools for girls or were girls attending mixed schools.

65. The 130 girls attending the four Garrison Schools classed in Table I as not Controlled are included in the above figures under Unaided Schools.

66. Considerable progress was made during the course of the year in the erection of the new Trade School where training in Engineering and Building will be given.
67. Technical classes continued to be held under the auspices of the 'Evening Institute'.
