48. Fanling Lodge.-The New Territories residence of H.E. the Governor was completed, and a guard house, manned by five Indian Police, was built.
49. The licensing of all dogs was extended to the New Territory (North) during the year with fairly good results.
50. Ping Chau Island (Mirs Bay) and Tap Mun (Tolo Channel) were transferred from Sha Tau Kok and Taipo districts respectively, and are now under the supervision of No. 1 Police Launch.
51. Ten Armed Robberies, two Attempted Armed Robberies, five Murders and one Suspected Murder occurred during the year in the New Territory (North).
