This Hospital, which is connected with the Eastern Dispensary, is in the charge of a Western-trained Chinese doctor. The total number of beds in 1934 was 31 and the number of admissions was 857. There was one maternal death, and twenty-four still-births. Since this Hospital was entirely renovated in 1931 it has maintained a high standard of efficiency and has done remarkably good work in a very crowded district.
