GENERAL WORKS.
159. 160. Drainage:—(a) Training Nullahs.-Small improvements with extensions were effected to existing nullahs.

(b) Miscellaneous Drainage Works. New sewers and storm water drains varying in diameter from 84” to 6″ were constructed to a length of 13,081 feet, principally at To Kwa Wan, Ma Tau Wai, Kau Pui Shek, Sung Wong Toi, Ho Mun Tin and Kowloon Point. The existing large outfall sewers were extended at Kowloon City. A nullah at Sung Wong Toi was extended seawards. Numerous additions and extensions to the existing storm water drainage in the several districts were completed. The number of drain connections made was 191. Many new gullies with flat gully gratings were constructed and connected to the storm water drainage system.

161. Miscellaneous.-The following works were carried out under this head:-The Building of a rubble wall to N.W. of the Tsim Tsa Tsui Police Station and turfing of the slope, the provision of gymnastic apparatus at the Police Training School, and a few other minor works.
