62. The English Schools show an increase from 114 to 124.
63. It is hoped that more of the private schools for teaching English will avail themselves of the Examination for Entrance to Class 3 in Queen's College or King's College and not continue to maintain for small upper classes staff which would be better employed with a larger number of boys doing elementary work.
SCHOOLS FOR GIRLS.
64. Of the 72,461 children under instruction in the schools of the Colony during 1933, 22,388 or rather more than 30% of the whole were attending schools for girls or were girls attending mixed schools.
