It is hoped that more of the private schools for teaching English will avail themselves of the Examination for Entrance to Class 3 in Queen's College or King's College and not continue to maintain for small upper classes staff which would be better employed with a larger number of boys doing elementary work.

64. Of the 72,461 children under instruction in the schools of the Colony during 1933, 22,388 or rather more than 30% of the whole were attending schools for girls or were girls attending mixed schools.
