3 1st Class Land Surveyors (1 seconded to Crown Lands Office).

3 1st Class Assistant Land Surveyors (Chinese) (1 vacancy).

5 2nd Class Assistant Land Surveyors (Chinese) (2 vacancies).

9 3rd Class Assistant Land Surveyors (Chinese).

10 Apprentice Surveyors.

6 Student Surveyors.

3 Computers.

78 Survey Coolies.

The Draughtsmen and Clerks are employed conjointly by the Crown Lands and Survey Sub-Departments of the Public Works Department.

2. Mr. F. Sutton, Assistant Superintendent of Surveys, returned from leave on 16/1/31 and resumed the duties of his office.

Mr. F. W. Wood, 1st Class Land Surveyor, returned from leave on 3/12/30 and resumed his duties as officer in charge of Kowloon District.

Mr. C. H. Douglas, 2nd Class Land Surveyor, returned from leave on 29/12/30.

3. Mr. J. Angwin, 2nd Class Land Surveyor, proceeded on leave on 28/3/31.

Mr. G. H. Gandy left for England on leave on urgent private affairs in December,
