Praya East Reclamation-Special reference was made in last year's Report regarding the development of Praya East Reclamation. Since the development of this area commenced, 248 Chinese houses have been completed.
During the year 1930, 39 plans were approved for 384 Chinese houses.
215 houses were completed during the year under review and 281 houses were still under construction. Plans were also approved for two Garages, one Cinema Theatre, one Petrol Filling Station, a Tea House and for other smaller and temporary works.
