Central Police Station, Chief Detective Inspector's Office, Alterations to Building and constructing Offices.—The work consisted of minor alterations and the conversion of three large barrack rooms on the first floor of the Main Building into offices by the erection of glazed partitions to provide accommodation for the Criminal Investigation Department in a more concentrated manner.
The offices vacated by the transfer were fitted up for use as barrack rooms.
